Another March Oyster Party!

The oysters have been so good, we’re having a second Oyster Party in March.  It’s the last Sunday of the month, March 26th.

We are open 11 to 5 on Sundays, with oysters available at 11 am until they run out – usually around 3:30…

Oysters will be both shucked raw and grilled to order.  No reservations.  Kulshan IPA on tap and Oyster Friendly wines by the glass or bottle.


First Oyster Party of 2017

Oyster Party this Sunday, March 5th, in our heated and covered Courtyard.  Slurping begins at 11am.

The Edison Chicken Parade 2017

A Chicken Parade?  Yes, it exists.  And the parade begins at High Noon, this Sunday, February 26th.  After the parade, stop in for a bowl of soup.  We’re making chicken noodle.

Vacation 2017!

Slough Food will be closed Sunday, January 8th, through February 2nd.

Slough Food will re-open Friday, February 3rd at 11 am.

Oysters! December 2016

This Sunday, December 11th – last Oyster Party of 2016!  We are open 11 to 5, with oysters being shucked from 11 till they run out, usually by 4….so get here early for the best selection.

Knut Christiansen will be in the Slough Food Courtyard shucking and serving oysters raw on the half shell with house mignonette.  Oysters will also be available grilled with your choice of three select toppings.


Although we do have some indoor seating, this is mostly an outdoor event.  The courtyard, however, is covered, and we will have the heaters cranked!  We also have a basket of blankets.  In addition to oysters, Slough Food will be offering our normal menu, with oyster friendly wines available by the glass or bottle, and Kulshan IPA will be on tap.

Oysters! November 2016!

Get to Edison this Sunday, November 13th and get your fill of Oysters – grilled and shucked raw.

We are open 11 to 5, with oysters available until they run out.  Get here early for the best selection.

Oyster Parties Begin!

It’s October!  And we begin our monthly Oyster Parties, starting Sunday, October 16th.  We are open 11 to 5 on Sundays, with oysters available from 11 until we run out – usually around four o clock.

Knut, from, will be in the Slough Food Courtyard both shucking and grilling.  The raw oysters will have a mignonette, and the grilled oysters will be available with a choice of three specialty sauces.

We will have Oyster Friendly Wines available be the glass or bottle, and our normal courtyard menu will also be available.

No reservations necessary – we’ll see you Sunday!


Last Paella Party 2016

Sunday, September 25th, we will have our last Paella Party of the 2016 season!  Then monthly Oyster Parties begin…

Knut Christiansen, of, brings his culinary craft to the Slough Food Courtyard creating three unique batches of this famous Spanish seafood dish.  Slough Food is open 11 to 5 on Sundays, with paella available noon to threeish.

Slough Food will offer our normal courtyard menu, with paella friendly wines available by the glass or bottle.  Kulshan Brewing Sunnyland Summer IPA is on tap, and we will make a batch of our delicious Sangria.

No reservations necessary, unless you have a party of six or more, then kindly give us a heads up so we can seat you together.
